We were warmly welcomed with a delicious cup of award-winning coffee. The tour was incredibly interesting and informative. Our guide, Felipe, was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and funny—and his English was excellent. Felipe walked us through every stage of the coffee plant’s growth, from seed to harvest. He clearly explained the traditional drying process as well as alternative methods used to achieve different flavor profiles. Had a perfect tasting of Wush Wush, run by Jairo. We were offered coffee on arrival, before we even asked for anything. Great start!

The Wush Wush was painstakingly prepared and very impressive to the last drop. We were also offered a slice of local speciality cake just for stopping by. Finally an extra tasting of Caturra for contrast, which was also excellent.

I loved my time at Cafe La Morelia - Valentina was an incredible host. She is so passionate about coffee and sharing the entire process with her guests. I don't drink coffee and she went out of her way to ensure I had beverages to drink when everyone else was drinking coffee.
