Review: Da Quei Matti Hayuelos, Bogotá
I must admit, as a self-proclaimed food snob from New York, I walked into Da Quei Matti Hayuelos with low expectations. Having been away from the culinary delights of America for years, I didn't expect much from an Italian restaurant in Bogotá. However, I was pleasantly surprised.
The menu was a revelation. Every dish we tried was delightful, and the desserts were no exception. The drinks, particularly the sangria, were of high quality—delicious and satisfyingly strong. The filet mignon was served with a delectable brown sauce, complemented by fresh and flavorful vegetables. My girlfriend's zucchini was seasoned to perfection; I was truly impressed.
Service was another highlight. Our server, Fernando, provided excellent attention, enhancing our dining experience. The ambiance struck a perfect balance between romantic and family-friendly, making it suitable for various occasions.
To top it all off, the prices were reasonable, adding to the overall appeal of this hidden gem. I can't recommend Da Quei Matti Hayuelos enough. If you're in Bogotá, it's a must-visit for anyone craving delicious...

Read moreLa segunda vez que comemos en el lugar, volvimos pq nos gustó mucho la pizza emiliana que viene con rugula, está vez no estaba tan rica pero esto no fué el problema, la rugula estaba mal lavada si es que estaba lavada, tenía un pedazo grande de tierra. Se le dijo al administrador y se disculpó pero lo mínimo que uno espera por un plato que claramente no se puede terminar de comer y que tal vez pueda adquirir una bacteria por lo que alcancé a comerme... Es que no lo cobren, en el momento que nos dimos cuenta habíamos comido la mitad de la pizza y dejamos la otra mitad, pero al señor le pareció adecuado hacer un descuento de 9 mil pesos que no equivale ni a una porción de pizza, por Dios. Cómo le dije, el problema no es el error sino la solución que se le da. Que mal. No volveremos y lástima pq la pizza es rica. Pero una pizza de 60mil pesos, malos procesos sanitarios, sobretodo cuando las hortalizas sembradas en lugares aledaños al río Bogotá son regadas con estas aguas....
