Impossible to get a decent espresso shot in any of these locations (this goes for Oma, Juan Valdez and such).

The person behind the counter is never a trained barista. If you are drinking something with a lot of milk, sugar, a coffee based dessert/smoothie then it doesn't seem to matter much because all that extra stuff masks the bad tasting coffee. But if you are a espresso drinker, it's a completely different story.

What's worse is that price wise these drinks are in the same range as especialty coffee places, which makes absolutely no sense.
