Tesoros del mar — Restaurant in Cartagena

A gem that we highly recommend in Cartagena! While standing in front of Tesoros del Mar waiting for our taxi my husband chatted a bit with Javier who was extremely polite and informative regarding local places to visit and the food they serve at Tesoros del Mar. After returning from our city tour we had dinner here. We are a family of four, 2 adults 2 children. There was plenty of indoor seating but we decided to sit a table outside right on the beach to enjoy the beautiful sunset and it made for a lovely dinner!

Right away Karina offered us menus and was super patient with our indecisiveness (everything in the menu sounded so good!) My husband chose the Cazuela de Mariscos Gratinada and I chose the regular Cazuela de Mariscos… they were both DELICIOUS! Our kiddos ate the all beef burger with natural Mora juice and they were both very good too.

We then proceeded to order a Catalina Margarita which is a new creation prepared by Javier himself, it’s a new cocktail he came up with which was both delicious and refreshing, we highly recommend it.

As an appetizer we got the mixed patacones which were mouth watering. THANK YOU to Javier, Karina and Brenda for a great dinner experience.
