La Trilla de Vega — Restaurant in Atenas

Very disappointing..I've had 1 ok meal and 2 very disappointing and poor value...Worse than the lack of attention to detail in the food was this lovely new and young server that was trying her best despite either no pre training or better whitnessed just thrown into service by her employer. We observed first hand her seasoned co workers do nothing to assist her in becoming aware of policies options or procedure.They were all sitting at a table on their cell phones...I'm in the food industry and know that statically blame for poor service goes up to the top as a result of terrible training and terrible teamwork..I will not return..3 times...

If you want glorified bar food while watching sports, this is the place for you. We were 5 people, and one person was left sitting in a tall chair towering over the table. The service was slow, and the waitress misunderstood one person's order (a Tico speaking spanish) and completely forgot the child's order. Some simple chicken nuggets and fries arrived 15 minutes or more after the other meals. The onion rings were good, but the fries were sub par, and the casado was average at best. Wouldn't return, unless I wanted to sit at the bar and watch football or futbol on tv while drinking a beer...whenever they got around...

The atmosphere is great. People are having fun and a nice quiet spot in the back. As I sit at the bar watching the line cook eating food over top of every order. Picking her fingers as she places food on each plate, she must be hungry because she keeps dipping her fingers in the sauce and picking it off. A plate needed pickles, so she dipped her fingers in the pickle jar just after picking them and placed it on a dish going out. There is a baby in the back who they all play with, then go straight to the food. will never be able to eat here . But I will come in for drinks and watch everyone...
