Nectar's Restaurant — Restaurant in Cóbano

We were recommended to go to Nectar by our Airbnb host and it was an excellent experience. We were skeptical about going somewhere with a higher price point that didn’t have many reviews but realized it’s just because it’s a little off the main drag and part of a very small boutique lodging property. However, we are so happy we decided to have dinner there. Yuri, who is a manager/server, took great care of us the whole night. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable about the food and beverage program there, but he also has great conversation dialogue for any expat and takes a tremendous amount of pride in his job. His English was perfect and he helped us Americans with our Spanish. Besides the service, the food was also incredible. We get octopus all over the world and this was by far our favorite we have ever had. We have also never had fresher tuna than we had at Nectar. They literally bring it in at 3 PM after it is caught that morning. The beef was of excellent quality and the wine selection was also extremely impressive. The ambience was very relaxing and it was a quintessential fine dining beach experience being able to sit in the sand, listen to the waves, and eat good food. We go to a lot of dinners and this was by far on the top of the list. If we ever come back to Santa Teresa, we will definitely dine...

Nectar is our go-to spot for a lovely brunch treat, and it never disappoints. Yes, it’s a bit more expensive, but the experience more than makes up for it—impeccable service, a stunning beachfront setting, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to linger for hours.

This sushi plater cost $50 and the hotel and restaurant are so cool to go spend a day and these sushi special 3 sushi rolls And tuna tartar starts at 3 pm !
