Cabinas y Restaurante Mata Limón (Cabinas Leda) — Restaurant in Caldera

Nice clean place to stay. We are US citizens so I can really only compare to that. The rooms only have windows that face the courtyard and the restaurant. The room is set up for a family with 3 beds. Not sure if all rooms are like that. No hot water. However, seems in Costa Rica this is not a huge issue as the water is just cool, not warm but not cold either, was not shocking at all. Room was very clean with a nice fridge that had a freezer too. Coffee pot in room with coffee. For just $50 a night it is great. Not a lot of sight seeing here though. Great place to get away and the people there are super friendly. I would not hesitate to stay...

We were here in March of 2025. Our ship docked way out of town and we tried walking to find a restaurant. At the gate, we asked for directions and the owner of the restaurant happened to be there and offered us a ride. We are happy we accepted. Delicious fresh food and beach front view.
