This place is such a hidden gem in the tranquil town of Guapiles. They have an amazingly extensive menu that can satisfy almost everyone’s craving for a comforting meal. From juices, salads, meats to seafood,they use the freshest ingredients from local producers, and as a true foodie with my picky Asian taste bud, I can tell that immediately from the taste of the food. Even the simplest chicken soup has a big flavor. Second to none is also the services, which made me feel like home the second I walked in from the genuinely attentive waiters and waitresses. The owners Mr&Mrs Vargas are such sweet people who are so knowledgeable about local cuisines and caring for the customers. Too bad I don’t live here, otherwise I would eat here every day. We needed a place to stop on our way to and also from Puerto Viejo. This place provided the perfect stop with so many options to accommodate the various people in our group. They even have a separate vegetarian/vegan menu which was an unexpected surprise. The waitress is super friendly and the pineapple basil juice is so refreshing in the midday heat. This place quickly jumped to the top of our favorite meals in Costa Rica list. I definitely recommend...

Came for the vegan and non-vegan options and everything was amazing. Vegan options were plentiful and exceeded expectation and according to our family the regular menu was superb as well.
