Estadero Bistró & Café — Restaurant in Heredia

Ok. This spot is cutie cute! I have a beautiful vibe as soon as you enter it. It is clean, appealing, and well laid out. The staff does speak English, not fluent but they can have a conversation. The menus are only in Spanish, so I used the Goggle Translate Camera feature to translate the menu. The bathrooms are clean & they smelled good. They are not rushing you our the door. They provide board games, puzzles, and cards for you to stay and linger. Good energy! Now let us discuss the food. It is simply delicious. The plating alone makes you grab your camera. The only setback is the limited FREE parking. It is tight and small but I will be returning with more friends.

Lo mejor. If you don't try this restaurant you are making a huge mistake. It is excellent.

The salmon with the soy and honey glaze is delicious. The waitress highly recommended it and I'm glad I listened to her. It comes with two sides. The mashed potatoes, sauteed vegetables, and croquetes de maduro are all delicious.

The meal included soup or salad and I had the soup, which was delicious. It was sopa de calabaza or pumpkin soup. It came with a small piece of focaccia bread.

My new favorite restaurant...

Not exactly a place to return a second time. The place is nice and quiet. However, it is expensive $$$ for what you expected. The food, in my case, the chicken was in some parts raw and the portions differ from what you eat and what you order to take away, when restaurant staff prepare them. The service is slow even when the bistro have a few tables served (close to empty). It is unfortunate that the restaurant has these pitfalls, because it is well located and the interior...
