La Castilla — Restaurant in La Asunción

Restaurante La Castilla, Fui con 2 amigas a Cenar Sushi el sábado y nos quedamos impactadas de la muy mala calidad del sushi, los roles sin relleno, el California Roll solo era pepino con arroz, una masa sin sabor, el buffet montado como sin ganas, para los estándar que acostumbra Marriot fue decepcionante la calidad de la comida, algo tan elemental como los rollos primavera, No tenían relleno de vegetales como lo indican en su publicidad, asi con cada roll no entregaron lo que indica la publicidad a eso sumado la mala atención de la mesonera. Les escribí directamente pero ignoraron mi correo, Pero si van a promocionar sushi mejor no lo hagan ilimitado porque esa evidentemente no es su especialidad, preferible menos pero de calidad.

I had be the worst sushi experiences I’ve had. The quality of the food was shockingly poor—each roll was worse than the last, lacking flavor, and proper technique. Ingredients felt cheap and mismatched, and the presentation was careless.Even the Spring roll was awful.

The Wakame salad was particularly alarming: it had a fluorescent tint, likely due to the use of artificial coloring and emulsifiers, which made it look and taste completely unnatural and unappetizing.

Beyond the food, the service was inattentive and dismissive. I raised my concerns directly with the restaurant supervisors before posting this review, hoping to resolve the issue privately but I was ignored. That silence has compelled me to share this publicly so future guests are informed.

Beautiful space on the upper level of the hotel overlooking the courtyard and also the golf course..Quality ingredients. Not the most authentic Japanese food but great quality and presentation.You will have an enjoyable evening with a delicious meal. The Ramen soup is fresh noodles with a flavorful broth NOT salty..
