We stopped here for a short break on our way home, what a mistake. We ordered an iced coffee and chicken nuggets from the machine. It seems forever before we were called to pick up our small order. We noticed it was a hot coffee, and the middle age female worker told us there’s no iced coffee. So I asked for some ice in Spanish and she said no ice. Does that mean everyone was drinking warm Diet Coke? The chicken nuggets tasted more like gold nuggets than chicken. They were tough to chew. I’ve visited McD probably in over 20 different countries, and by far this has to be the worst one. Both the service and the food. I can’t say much about the tough chicken since typically here in CR, chickens are pretty tough, so I guess even McD has to refry it’s nuggets to meet the local demand. On the other hand, though I normally don’t expect much of a service from McD, but I was still shocked to learn how a franchisee can train its normally friendly ticas and ticos into McD employees that are even worse than stateside.
