My partner Mica and I had one of the most memorable and magical dining experiences at La Cosecha in Nosara. This was so much more than just dinner — it was a beautifully curated, full-body sensory journey that left us truly in awe.

Colin is a true artist, and his culinary creativity and sensitivity are simply mind-blowing. Every detail, from the flavors to the textures and the brilliant elixir pairings, was crafted with so much thought and heart. You could taste the love and care he puts into sourcing fresh, clean ingredients and bringing them together in a way that feels both intentional and magical.

The entire experience was intimate, artful, and unforgettable. It was one of the sweetest nights of our trip, filled with flavors and moments that lingered long after the meal ended. Colin’s passion for what he does shines through in every bite, creating something truly rare and special.

If you’re in Nosara, whether a local or visiting, this is an absolute must. It’s not just dining — it’s an experience. Five stars, and we can’t recommend it...

This will be a Michelin star restaurant some day . The chef is bright, innovative, personable. Uses local ingredients and thinks anything is possible. (That’s what she said and shows she has fun cooking!) Good pairings of either wines or non alcoholic beverages. Tuna with a fabulous “leche de tigre” sauce and hand made tortilla corn chips with avocado mousse, a local variety (very different) cucumber salad, lamb with local spices and a potato pave like thing with burrata… a sorbet with “pop rocks”, the dessert that included a chocolate covered coconut ice cream lollipop on a sugar cane stick that you can dip in seeds was so fun and so delicious. She mentioned they’ve only been open for a year. Six course prix fix. They change their menu every month. This spot is a perfect place for this Costa Rican chef and hope others get to know her talent. Wonderful space. Warm staff. If she was anywhere else she’d have been found sooner… all that said this is where...
