Soda Ana — Restaurant in Parrita

We finally stopped by this “Soda en el Jardín” for breakfast before departing Esterillos Oeste. The pintos con huevos plus coffee was 2,500 colones (~$5 in USD). The flavors of the rice and beans was excellent!

They had many other options to substitute instead of eggs. Though given the many chickens wandering about - eggs seems like the most appropriate choice!

A local family stopped by for breakfast while we were eating.. it was great to have a not-so-touristy stop before leaving the area. We would absolutely return.

If you are expecting a 5-star US restaurant, this isn’t for you. But if you want the local experience and great food - we definitely recommend...

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a lovely lady that had nothing but smiles. Luckily, I speak a bit of Spanish, so no language barrier for me.
