This soda is convenient to the beach. It's really "rustic" (i.e. could use a proper cleaning and the cat wouldn't leave us after jumping up on the bench), although the food was good. The fruit smoothy was a bit watery for my liking. Prices are generally on par with other sodas. Soda Margarita was a lovely surprise. The food was very good, and the portions were generous—come hungry! I highly recommend the pineapple batido; it was fresh, creamy, and perfectly tropical. Husband had a big breakfast that was delicious.
What really made the experience stand out was the ambiance. The space is filled with plants and greenery, giving it a peaceful, garden-like vibe that’s hard to beat. It’s the kind of place you want to linger in.
We’ll definitely be back. Great food, friendly service, and a setting that feels like a...
Read moreExcellent, authentic, local food in a lovely garden steps from the ocean. I entered beach side and exited out on the street. I had traditional gallo pinto with fried eggs, tortilla, and the best bacon I've had in Costa Rica yet! I also loved my cantaloupe drink - fabulous. An added bonus were the little chickens wandering the property and the friendly cat. It's a shaded space with light ocean breezes and cute decor. The staff are lovely and the food is plentiful and comes out fast. There is a sign with menu items written in English if you don't speak Spanish....
