La Sirena de Esterillos — Attraction in Puntarenas Province

Great beach. The Siren is still not back in place as of February 28/24. If you love to snorkel, there are awesome tide pools around the area where the siren was. I went into a tide pool with my snorkel gear today during low tide. Super warm water, crystal clear, and a bunch of fish at the back end towards the ocean. The sea can be pretty rough in this area. At low tide there is a shallow tidal pool to wallow in and you can walk out to the Siren. Be sure to wear good foot wear as the rocks are slippery and difficult to walk on. The water is lovely and warm. Watch out...
