Porky's Burger Bar — Restaurant in Pozos

TACOS DE BIRRIA and the TEX MEX Fiesta (Enchiladas) were very good for $$$. COSTILLAS DE CERDO EN TROZOS was the prize. Very hard to find BBQ ribs in Costa Rica and this place shines. Sides were also great.

The Tex-Mex plates are combo and include a nice Soup and 1 beverage (including beer). Taxes are included in quoted prices, so no surprises on the bill.

Where they repeatedly fail is administration (-1 Star). They had a dispute with Uber Eats and no longer use, but also haven't replaced with a private delivery service in over a month. They have WhatsApp +506 8783 8552, but it took 24 hours to get a response for ordering ahead and picking up by Uber yourself.

We decided to go in person for the dining experience. My date knew what she wanted and the waiter eagerly took and placed her order. I needed a minute, but he was gone. He returns with her Tacos and drink, then proceeds to take my order. The ribs take a long minute as do the enchiladas. My date was long done with her meal and drink by the time my food arrived. Truly annoying. (-1 Star)

The hamburgers are really good!!! But i have to say the price is really really high including the drinks are expensive. Inside, i feel is not comfortable enough, I mean for the price... I don't think I'll be back. I've tried good hamburgers in different places as well, but with better prices and much more comfortable.

After receiving a reply for this review I realized i want to go one star down cuz I feel they doesn't accept to be critized. To be critized means feedback and my feedback to the food was good. I'll tell you some...the chair I sat down it was shared with the people from behind, it means doesn't make it confortable enough because they were moving all the time. Now, maybe is not big deal cuz you can move to another spot. In the fisrt spot the chair was wet so we decided to move. Yeah I know was raining, so we are not paying for quality, it doesn't count? Sport Bar it is not cheap but food is good. worth it. Attention takes time, but management is awful! and i made a reservation to see a soccer match (national's final) and i was clear that i was reserving to be able to see the match. They put me on the worst table and i was not able to see clearly any of the screens. The guy in charge had no manner at all, he was super unrespectful and rude to me, there were several empty tables and reservation time has passed out but just decided not to change mine (the table in front of us was empty and nobody came to it) he had no reason but the table assigned to me was that one and he couldnt change anything. We stayed there anyways but he was so eccentric that 10 mins before the match ends they put a new screen (the only one that we could see clearly) and comes to me just to say: "you see? No table is bad". This is the worst service ever, and i will never ever be...
