What a disaster..... The restaurant was empty on a busy night, mall was packed. First sign of don't go in... Waiters trying to get you in, second sign to don't go in. Amuse geule was a creamy soup, not to identify as carrot or pumpkin soup. It came in bowl big like a salad bowl; it was tasteless. But i felt for a simple pasta from a parmesan wheel. Nomally an easy thing, or so I thought, but I got cold pasta with a big clutch of cold parmesan clinging to the cold noodles. The waiter melted the parmesan with a burner (latest here I should have stopped him & left). I ordered the pasta with shrimp. I got 3 small shrimp, ice cold and soaked in garlic, bad taste and even worse the consistency..... Ok, we called the waiter and he changed the dish to a carbonara (my children make it all the time without problems). You know, totally simple. Parmesano, butter, egg, fresh pepper, panceta... Most simple thing... Not here.... Totally untercooked pasta with cheap bacon, no signs of the creamy consistency, bitter taste... My wife's pasta with tomato sauce was edible, more or less... All together a culinary disaster. They need better training and don't destroy the Italian cuisine with your dishes. Almost 40000 colones and we left hungry. Ah, the best thing was the bread...

Restaurants like Bottega Privee (Pinares) is the reason Costa Ricans (Ticos) are known to be thieves in a third world country! It is widely known that if you are American or foreign, you will be ripped-off, everywhere! Even though I was born in Costa Rica and have lived my entire life in the U.S., that did not stop them from taking advantage.

Three people dining on mediocre food and the bill was ridiculous. My fault, I am not familiar with the colon and didn't realize the discrepancy until the next day. They triple charged me for the wine...not great wine either. When I returned to speak with the manager, he knew exactly which bill was mine. My bill probably helped them reach their quota for the month. This place is always empty.

The manager refused to refund me and instead gave me a free wine bottle of their 'cheap' wine, which did not even make up for my loss. He also apologized, which was not enough accountability. The staff is probably trained to do this to customers, otherwise they would not get away with it.

This is disgusting way of doing business! NO INTEGRITY!!! Do unto others as you would want done to you! Shame on Bottega Privee!

Think twice before dining here. There are many other restaurants in the shopping center that offer better food, better service, and will not take advantage of you!

Restaurantes como Bottega Privee (Pinares) son la razon que los Ticos son conocidos como ladrones en un pais de el tercer mundo! Es sabido que Americanos y estranjeros son estafados en negocios como este. La esperiencia que tuve cuando comi aqui con mi familia fue horrenda.

Tres personas comimos comida mediocre y el costo total fue ridiculo. Mi culpa fue no haberme dado cuenta en el momento porque no soy muy familiar con el colon. Yo no note el error hasta el dia siguiente, donde me cobraron mas de triple por un vino de sabor barato.

Yo regrese el dia siguiente para hablar con alguien encargado. El 'manager' sabia exactamente cual era mi cuenta cuando yo empeze a hablarle. Estoy seguro que mi cuenta probablemente les ayudo alcanzar la quota de el mes! Bottega Privee (Pinares) esta siempre vacio, y por razon!

El manager se nego a devolverme el dinero que me robaron, pero me ofrecio una botella de vino barato de gratis. Esa botella nisiquiera recupero ni la tercer parte de lo que me robaron. El manager me pidio disculpa, pero eso no fue suficiente, ni manera de tomar responsabilidad por lo que sucedio.

Les debe dar verguenza hacer negocio sin INTEGRIDAD! De esa manera no se gana en la vida. Uno debe tratar a la gente como quieren que lo traten a uno.

Estoy segura y sin lugar a duda que es el peor restaurante de todo el GAM. Una ESTAFA y BURLA a mas no poder. Platillos diminutos, frios y de muy baja calidad por un precio ridiculamente alto. Les va mejor comiendo macarrones con una salsa natura que ordenar cualquier platillo de esta burla de lugar. Les deberia de dar vergyenza servirles a sus clientes y a los dueños cobrar por la basura asquerosa que sirven. Es indignante el nivel tan bajo de los platillos que preparan y si uno trata de regresarlos te dicen que esa es la receta de ellos que nada que hacer. Mi unica explicacion es que este lugar es un lavado de dinero y por eso les importa tan poco la opinion de tantos clientas ya que veo que no soy solo yo, es extraño tanto tiempo abiertos con esa basura de comida que sirven y años de malas reseñas. Los pocos comentarios me imagino deben de ser falsos o de empleados. A los meseros de este lugar les digo, yo entiendo todos necesitan trabajar pero tengan un poco de verguenza cuando vean a sus clientes a los ojos, no se como duermen por las noches sabiendo que estafan a personas dia tras dia y no quisiera pensar mal pero que tambien son parte de algo mas extraño. Lo siento pero no encuentro mayor explicacion a como este lugar logra mantener sus puertas abiertas. No se arriesguen, no vayan a este lugar, les daria menos colera tomar un billete de 10 mil y quemarlo que gastarlo en...
