We have been coming to this place for a couple of years now, every time we visit Costa Rica and the Poas Volcano. The place is usually busy on the weekends and late afternoons. They sell typical Costa Rican food and drinks. The food is not as good as it used to be but it’s pretty decent. The service could be a little better but it wasn’t too bad. Prices are not too bad either, compared to the states, but everything in Costa Rica is expensive

They have plenty of parking spaces and they have a barn and a kids playground in the back of the restaurant. The restrooms are tiny and are non ADA but you don’t expect to find ADA compliant restrooms in most Latin...

We went here for breakfast, been here many times, but this time was after a while. Service was 50/50. Our server was a young lady with almost no experience. I asked for pinto with no eggs and wanted to add other options to it, she still entered my order as complete (with eggs) but told the kitchen to hold the eggs. We got charged for complete. The food was tasty but not for that price. We ordered two pintos with a side of salchichón and two black coffee, and paid 15000 ($30) colones. Too much. If for lunch or dinner, I could still justify in my head. But I think it is now just too expensive to stop...

Quaint little stop on the way up to Poas. Very friendly staff, that do their best to make an enjoyable experience for their guests. The food was cooked to order and had good flavor. Seems to be in a renovated barn or some type of farmstead building. Awesome authentic paint decor. We really enjoyed our visit and the food! The staff made us feel so welcomed to their restaurant and their beautiful country.

This restaurant is awesome. The food was delicious and they have a great variety of traditional Costa Rican dishes and fresh fruit juices, and of course fresh coffee too. Friendly staff and great service. The owner came to our table and made sure everything was good. Totally recommended!
