Green Garden — Restaurant in San Ramón

The price per person we listed was high because we had to order so many things (smoothies, Champaign, a pizza, two pastas, salad, and the bread that came with the pasta, we were so pleasantly stuffed , I wish we could have stayed longer and eaten more. ) ,, it was in the middle of our vacation , we had driven from Quepos, and after we ate we ended up in La Fortuna. Chef Chris and his Resturant , his story, but most of all , his kindness and culinary artistic skills , cemented an experience we can only hope to be blessed to have again. This is hands down the best Italian styled food I've had in the entirety of Costa Rica. The service was phenomenal, and the presentation was top-notch. The owner/head chef was on-site and was nice enough to stop by our table to converse for a short minute.

I have not had a better plate of pasta in quite a while. Even the stuff I cook at home can not compete with the deliciousness I was served.

There are two separate enterences as after their initial opening, they took over the space next door. Due to that, they have a really good open kitchen smack dab in the middle of the place.

I was most impressed watching the cooks assembling our meals. They decorated the plate marvelously, and the mouth-watering scent of garlic was wafting through the air.

I am definitely going to go back so I can sample more delicacies from their menu. All in all, I was very happy with...

The three of us just tried out Green Garden in San Ramon. We had the Salmon Panini, the Vodka Pasta, and a Spicy Chicken Wrap. All three we excellent!!! They tasted absolutely fantastic. The Panini and Wrap come with a side of salad, and that too was excellent.

One of our group is, shall we say, picky and she couldn't stop raving about her meal.

They also had Gluten Free Pasta.

My compliments to the chef today who prepared our meals, to the server who was very polite, knowledgeable and spoke excellent english, and to the owners who were there and showed an interest in who we were and how we were doing.

The restaurant is only a few minutes off of Highway #1 into San Ramon, and there is ample street parking in the immediate area.

I will definitely be returning there, and l highly recommend the Green Garden if you are looking for a great place to enjoy...
