Artisan Brew Pub — Restaurant in San Vicente

Absolutely love this brew pub! The owner, Carolina, was so much fun to chat with. She's a very fascinating and well-traveled owner who knows her beer(s)! An unbelievable amount of beer choices are available. My husband and I shared a large pizza. We were able to choose the toppings for our half. I usually prefer my crust anywhere between pan tossed and very thick. These pizzas are made on very thin crusts. I was nervous and set my expectations accordingly. The pizza blew. me. away! It was almost like the crust wasn't necessary. The toppings were such high quality and created the most savory, fulfilling and filling meal. It's handicap friendly and just all around friendly service. We had such a great time with Carolina we completely forgot to pay. It felt like we were having dinner at our friend's house. Five Stars for the service and extensive local and world beer selection! No complaints there, the woman working was knowledgeable and friendly. Four stars however because there is no vegan food options except the Tomatoe Bruschetta. It was tasty, but it's very easy to have a vegan pizza option. My husband liked his Purple Monkey Pizza. Probably one of the best overall breweries in Costa Rica. I go there at least once a week. Whether it be after work, or after a sporting event nearby, I always make it a habit to stop by and have either a local brew, or one from another area. Their selection is awesome.
