The food was very delicious but the staff are very dishonest. We ordered the red snapper dinner special. They brought the largest red snapper they had for two people. It would have been courteous to inform us first as to the size of the fish so we could have made a better decision. Their agenda is to try to charge foreigners as much as possible! The overall cost is irrelevant to most of us but we don’t want to feel like we were taken advantage of. After we requested the tab, we found an extra drink charge that we brought to our waiter attention which he quickly apologized for and adjusted. If you review the tab their is a service charge but we are bombarded by the waiter to leave an additional tip. In CR, tipping is not common but here they will hassle you once you’re a tourist, so be prepared to leave an extra tip. P.S. you don’t have any privacy to decide if you will like to tip extra when you request the bill, the waiter is shadowing you throughout the entire process of getting your wallet out. Lastly, the prices are on the high side be prepared to drop a 100 bucks...

This was my favorite meal in Costa Rica. I shared the seafood platter with a friend. It was absolutely excellent! So fresh and delicious! Lobster, Manila clams, razor clams, fish, squid, and shrimp in a garlic butter sauce. We also shared the mixed seafood ceviche not knowing how large the portions are. The ceviche was also delicious and fresh, but it wasn't the best ceviche I had during my week in C.R. I would certainly recommend this place and definitely recommend the seafood platter, as it was excellent!! I would also recommend to arrive very hungry as the portions are very generous. I found the service to be very prompt, attentive, and friendly. I enjoyed the open beachy vibe and large wooden tables as well. It's a nice casual atmosphere with excellent seafood. It was a little pricey...

Great food, had shrimp cured in lemon juice as an appetizer, very tasty. Our local driver, Alban, suggested some fried plantain patty with beans, guacamole, and pica sauce to top the patty with, those were almost an entire meal by themselves and very good and we only had a half order. You can see the ocean but the main highway is right there also so it can get very noisy if there is much traffic. Great service from friends of Alban's, and the owner came by too. Very friendly folks here and they can cook. It was about $20 US, per person ordering mainly appetizers, only one of us got a large seafood soup, get the soup with the cream base, it...

Great typical Costarrican sea food from the Pacific Coast, starting by ceviche (not Peruvian but "tico") and delicious rices and pasta with shrlmps and/or other sea food. They also offer other elaborations like tuna filet, besides beef and chicken. The attention is awsome, very quick, kind and efficient. The atmosphere is relaxed and they offer an 'underground' passageway (crossing over the highway) to access the beach and take a last look before heading back to the city. For sure, not the last time we will visit them!
