We stopped here for chicken empanadas, although most of the food in Costa Rica tends to be bland, it is the opposite of this place.

Came across this shop whilst looking for things to do in Tamarindo. It's a small independent shop, which is great value for money. We bought 6 empenadas with different fillings, as well as some frozen rilioli and sauce to go with it. They were all delicious and we will be going back again!...

Incredibly inexpensive and very filling empanadas. I think the spinach and queso was my favorite followed by the chicken empanada. Maybe if we had some sort of salsa to go with the empanadas the chicken would've been the clear victor. Would definitely eat here often if...
