Istranka Restaurant & market — Restaurant in Grad Poreč

We have been visiting Istranka for several years during our summer holidays and eating mainly lunch there. The restaurant is located very close to the beach (across a small street.) What keeps us coming back is the distinctive hospitality of the owners and staff. They always have time for a good conversation or a joke. The menu is extensive and has a variety of dishes. The food is excellent, whether fish, meat or pasta dishes, pizza or simply a vegetarian salad, it always tasted good and was prepared quickly. If you want it to be done fast because the children are hungry, you are in good hands with Istranka. And if you like various desserts, you are also well served there. At the end of the meal you get a shot - schnapps or liqueur - offered on the house. We simply love...

Absolutely fantastic experience! Restaurant Istranka in Spadići is a true gem. The food is fresh, delicious, and full of authentic Istrian flavors. The seafood was perfectly prepared, the portions generous, and every dish beautifully presented. The service was warm, friendly, and professional – the staff made us feel very welcome. Seit 8 Jahren kommen wir nun nach Porec und das Istranka ist einfach ein MUSS. Dieses Jahr waren wir etwas skeptisch, da es neue Pächter hat - haben deshalb nur jeweils ein Hauptgericht bestellt. 1x Pizza ( diavolo ) die war geschmacklich sehr gut 1x Spaghetti Carbonara- sehr lecker Und 1x Spaghetti Aglio e Olio- auch sehr lecker. Hat etwas Salz gefehlt, aber das kann man nachwürzen.. Schade war, dass man nicht auf Sonderwünsche eingegangen ist, war aber auch nicht so tragisch..

Die Servicekräfte alle super freundlich, unaufdringlich - aufdringlich ( positiv gemeint, mir fällt nichts anderes ein, in anderen Konobas sitzt man und wenn das Glas leer ist, dann ist es halt leer ) Das Knoblauchbrot, dass hier immer wieder erwähnt wurde, haben wir leider nicht bekommen, dass lag evtl auch daran, dass wir erst um 21 Uhr dort waren und viele Pizzen bestellt waren Sofort mach dem Essen wurde uns ein Schnaps oder Kaffee aufs Haus angeboten, was wir erstmal abgelehnt hatten, nach dem bezahlen aber gerne abgenommen haben. Wir waren definitiv nicht das letzte mal hier.. Wenn man Glück hat, bekommt man direkt vor dem Restaurant einen Parkplatz, ansonsten gibt es paar Meter weiter einen riesigen Platz, wo man parken kann. Darauf achten, dass man einen Fensterplatz bekommt. Dann hat man einen tollen Blick aufs Meer, was Abends...
