Sail Croatia arranged this wine tasting. 1- The bus arranged to travel us to the farm couldn’t accommodate all the passengers and some had to stand. 2- Out introduction wine tasters served by the the staff ran out and some guests were left without having enjoyed the offering. 3- The organization is dismal as they try to accommodate too many people. One can’t hear the wine presentations as there are too many people chatting profusely.

Without a doubt, this is the singularly best quality dining on the entire island of Hvar. Situated within the Stari Grad planes, the restaurant serves up top quality fish and meat dishes excellently paired with Croatian wines and with the most polite and knowledgeable service. The wines were excellent and the meal was complimented with a selection of local brandies which where absolutely exceptional. We stopped here without a reservation but enjoyed the wine and oil tasting. We tried 4 wines and 3 olive oils. All were made on the farm, and all were delicious. We were also provided a small plate of snacks, again all made locally and truly excellent. They also sell all the products you sample if you would like to purchase them.
