Avoid if you are a foreigner.

Very strong smell of discrimination in the air. Doesn't even deserve 1 star. No basic service if you are not Croatian. Nobody to show you to the tables - we had to ask where we can sit and they just pointed us outside but there wasn't any empty table.

A waiter later showed us to a dirty table by the entrance. We sat and waited for someone to clean it and give us a menu - only for the menu to be ala carte menu with different pricing (we later found out that the locals get to choose from daily menu with lower price).. table still not cleaned. Mind you at this point people who came in after us have already gotten their table proper cleaned and set up.

After ~20min of waiting for someone to attend to us it seemed awfully obvious that we are not welcomed here so we walked out to find another establishment that will provide us decent service..and we found one just a stone’s throw away.

Skip this one and go to Bar & Restaurant BROD instead, excellent service and amazing seafood platter, fair price which locals and foreigners pay the same..no monkey business and most...

Our dreams of some authentic Croatian meal were gone as soon as the waiter gave us the menu and explained that all the traditional food is only served for lunch (we got there around 4:30pm). We settled for grilled veal with vegetables - since they were out of Swiss chard as well - and I also ordered "pickled salad". As a salad I got a bowl of fresh nicely cut cabbage with vinegar, and as a veal I got 3 small veal chops (albeit well marinated and quire tasty) and one huge piece of pork! I am not picky about the type of meat I eat, but this could have easily been a disaster. The crowd was, probably, the only authentic thing there - workers from the neighbourhood started gathering around 5 to eat. Them ogling the only two girls in the restaurant definitely didn't improve my experience. All in all, 2 points for the food being tasty and cheap, and that's that. I would avoid it, at least in the...

Humble place, with no pretention, good quality of food for great price (between 45-60 krona per person), big portions, and great service. Prices significantly lower than in old town and quality at least as good if not better.

We lived in this residential area for locals (not really a touristic area).

At first I was doubtful because the menu had so many different dishes, which is usually not a good sign, but many were actually not available because out of season.

Our waiter Dario was very welcoming, explained all the local specialties and was not pushy at all which i appreciate. We came back twice on our 3 days...
