The Best Dining Experience I've Ever Had!
If you're looking for a culinary experience that will leave a lasting impression, this is the place to go. I had the privilege of enjoying the most exceptional beef steak tartare of my life here. The dish was an absolute masterpiece—a perfect balance of flavors and textures, each bite better than the last. It's clear that the chef poured their heart and soul into crafting this dish.
Pairing the tartare with a glass of their local red wine was the perfect decision. The wine was rich and full-bodied, with just the right amount of tannins to complement the meal. It was like they were made for each other, elevating the entire experience to another level.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is something that words can barely capture. It's warm and inviting, yet refined and elegant. The ambiance set the tone for a relaxed and memorable evening, making it easy to lose track of time and simply enjoy the moment. Whether you're here for a special occasion or just a night out, this place makes every moment feel like a celebration.
But what truly made this experience unforgettable was the service we received. Our waiter, Militsa, was nothing short of extraordinary. She was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and had the most genuine warmth that made us feel like we were more than just customers. Militsa's passion for her work was evident in everything she did, from her impeccable recommendations to her engaging conversation. She truly made our night special, and we left feeling like we had made a new friend.
In a world where dining out can often feel rushed or impersonal, this restaurant is a breath of fresh air. It's a place where food, wine, and service come together in perfect harmony to create an experience that stays with you long after the last bite. I can't recommend it highly enough—do yourself a favor and make a reservation now. You...
Read moreNice presentation, good service, good food. The pumpkin risotto with gorgonzola cheese and walnuts was very good. €18 for this starter course seems a bit high considering these are not expensive ingredients. €15 would make more sense. The Duck was excellent, tasty, and the puree leek was also delicious and it was a good sized portion. The stuffed ravioli with shaved truffles was ok, but not great. The taste was rather bland and a very small portion for €24. Only 4 ravioli. 6 would make more sense for this price. Ravioli needed more seasoning and the truffles lacked real fresh truffle flavor. I’m guessing it’s because it’s out of season now and they might be forced to use preserved or older truffles. My advice is to avoid truffle dishes until late spring through fall when they are in season. These truffles tasted like the ones you buy in a jar. They also offered an olive and Tartufata dip as a courtesy to go with their bread, but it had a strange muddy texture and lacked flavor. They should come up with a new, more tasty truffle pate or olive tapenade. The bread was delicious and very fresh. Overall a nice experience, but with some simple changes it could be...
Read moreI have no idea how this place has so many rave reviews. I’m writing this before I’ve even paid for my check. Here’s the issue: it’s a lovely setting. The staff is nice enough but service is rather spotty.
When truffles are YOUR THING you better come through. I had first the pâté with truffles then the pasta. I should have stopped before they could make the pasta.
The truffles shaved on both dishes had as much flavor as actual cardboard. I love truffles. I’ve eaten a lot over the years and worked with them at various restaurants. Put a piece of real truffle on your tongue and that flavor/intensity is unmistakable. So either they let the ones they shave on dishes go horribly stale (they absolutely have a shelf life, especially if not stored properly) or ended up with some fake ones.
There was truffle flavor in the pasta but that’s easy enough to get with flavored oil or butter. There was zero truffle flavor on the paté. I don’t mind paying for truffles and I realize flavor intensity varies but this was an absolute embarrassment.
Both dishes took an absurdly long time to come out. I sat about 12:45 and I’m still here at 2:20....
