We ordered appetizers and main at the same time. 45 minutes later, still nothing. We called the server, nothing. 50 mins waiting and we got the green plantains...10 mins after, the shrimp cocktails. Not impressed about any. 1.30 mins later, our mains. I had the shredded beef which was pretty good. My mom had the fried pork (masas de cerdo fritas) and they were only 3 tiny pieces of a very dry meat. The congris was pretty good and tasty. Table next to us had their mains served and half an hour later, the French fries! They complained because they were supposed to be the sides for their mains. A joke!

Nice traditional Cuban restaurant that serves hearty and tasty meals that are billed in the Cuban currency (CUP). The restaurant has 3 floors and by Santa Clara is quite large. We had great service and the food was fresh and tasty. 2 people can dine here with drinks for about $15 USD. The top patio is beautiful and has a great view. Meals come with some of the tastiest rice and beans we have had in Cuba. Much wider selection of dishes and the quality is generally quite high.

Ok, we all know at this point that Cuba is not the best when it comes to food. We should also know that they are lacking of primary ingredients, however tonight I think I have reached a new level of discomfort. We ordered two main courses, a fish paella and pollo frito. While waiting for the food we realised that they have an open kitchen where you actually could see that they were using microwave to heat the food that later served us, which leads to my first assumption: God only knows since when the food was prepared. But lets now focus on the dishes. The paella rise was so overcooked that it began melting, fish was eatable ( however about the latter I will only know in a couple of hours if I survive the night without closing myself into the toilet) but overall extremely salty. The fried chicken was sn authentic disaster made it worst from the microwave (we all know how bad the chicken smells when you reheat it), it was dried and overcooked. Please avoid getting food at...

We had lunch here: we ordered a cup of coffee, a glass of sangria, fries, fried rice with chicken and a pasta with ham and cheese. There was air conditioning, which was very nice. however we went to this restaurant based on the positive reviews, but I would not recommend it when it comes to the food. The drinks were completely fine, but the pasta was really not good in taste and this also applies to the meal with rice. I even sent the pasta back, fortunately they reacted kindly to this. Then I ordered a plate of fries but I was disappointed with the food and I would not go back again...
