We booked what we thought was the best restaurant at the hotel for a special birthday. We were told no kids allowed as they asked our sons age but when we turned up there were lots of kids. Not a problem in itself just unexpected. We were put next to the kitchen doors opening all the time with clattering, smells, doors opening all the time by themselves. We asked to be moved and got moved one table along. When the meal came, mine was cold and the others were like warm but edible. Trying to get it warmed up was difficult. After several visits by the waiter and confirming I wanted the same meal, I finally got it when the others were finishing theirs. It wasn’t great and I didn’t each much. When they gave us our desserts they brought our bill (without us asking for it) . This was quickly followed by a waiter wanting paid before we had even finished eating dessert.
