Pretty underwhelming to be honest! Read good reviews on here so decided to book as we’re staying in a villa on Aphrodite Hills and wanted to stay local this evening. Restaurant on first impressions outside is nice; all tables taken and people enjoying their food. Inside is a bit soul-less; lighting too bright with faded black table cloths….always a bad sign if you ask me. Waited a while for menus to be brought but on first impressions the menu was decent. We ordered a bottle of Marlborough SB (the only New Zealand wine) at €36 so expected it to be fair. We ordered our food and the wine came; pretty awful to be honest, I was the only one who drank it and I struggled to be fair…..it was not a good wine. We waited a long time for our starters. Our waiter came over and presumed we’d already had them but we told him we hadn’t so he apologised and they came out soon after. Frozen tempura prawns and some California rolls. Mains were a mixture of sushi, miso cod and sirloin in oyster sauce. Everything looked as if it had been frozen. The beef was a pale colour, the cod was bland and the salmon on the sushi was very pale in colour. All in all a very disappointing evening. Staff were too busy to give any level of decent, personal service and the atmosphere was dull. €200 later and we left feeling very deflated. A fabulous dining experience which must be experienced by those visiting the area. Specialising in oriental cuisine, the ambience is relaxed yet class, without the stoicness of a very formal dining establishment. The staff are friendly, service is efficient and adds to the quality experience of the diners. The food is delicious, although I'd like the menu choice to he just that wee bit wider. But what is available is well-plated and some of the nicest Chinese food I've tasted. A child-friendly restaurant but there is a dress code - not overly strict e.g gents must wear trousers and no flip-flops. Booking is on-line, or via reception, for those staying at the resort. Very well worth a visit....

Wonderful restaurant and service staff. I had the beef medallions with mushrooms in oyster sauce. Delicious. Another night I chose the Mongolian chicken strips. So tasty. This is quality cooking of the highest standard and the portion sizes were generous both times. Highly...
