I have been ordering from pizza mia for quite a while and they have reassured me every time i ordered that my food did not come into contact with gluten as i am a celiac patient. Today i have ordered again from them and i found one piece of pasta (which contains gluten) in my food and have realised it after i have eaten half of the food i ordered. This can only mean that the food is not being proofed, cooked in the same place where gluten is cooked or that same cutlery is being used for the cooking. It is UNACCEPTABLE AND VERY UNPORFESSIONAL for a client to express that they have a severe allergy twice through online comment section and via phone and the restaurant not to pay the right attention. When i gave them a call to mention this issue (i was not very friendly) the response was we told the chef and its impossible for pasta to have been found in your lunch. No acceptance of any responsibility no offer for any refund no apology. Since my allergies are note taken seriously i will never be ordering from here again. NOT SAFE FOR CELIAC PATIENTS!!! Pizza Mia Makariou is exactly the opposite of Pizza Mia Linopetras! Lived in an area for all my life having Pizza Mia Linopetras assigned to me and I loved it! Now with Pizza Mia Makariou, I've decided that I'm never ordering again!
Food portions are a joke! For example salad bowls come half empty and always emphasizing the cheap material!
Delivery... no comment! Slow as a turtle no matter what you order! Did you order 5 pizzas and 2 pastas? 1 hr. Did you order a simple salad that takes 5 minutes to prepare? Again 1hr! And if the bring it in 1,5 hr you are lucky!
