Terrible stuff and unsanitary food. At first the lady, I guess the owner as well was acting all nice and kind. We went took our food (take-away), and when we went home we found hair on the wings and on the brisket. When we called to confront them they told us to go back with the food. So we drove back 20mins and when we arrived we saw 2 cats in the restaurant, yes INside. We showed her the food she went ballistic at us when we said there is cat hair and said racist stuff about Cypriots, like saying "you Cypriots don't know how to eat", "You only know to eat fakes and pourgouri", "You don't know how authentic brisket from Australia is", yes these are her words. I don't know why she acted like this I think she thought we just didn't like the food, but the problem wasn't the food taste was the UNSANITARY food with CAT hair. Anyways, very unprofessional, very unkind racists what can I say. I also reported the restaurant because of their behavior and to check if it is clean, because why there are cats IN the restaurant? I will never go back there and I do not recommend to go there unless you want food with a side...
Read moreWe got the Full Platter. The chicken was super tasty and juicy, perfectly roasted! Ribs were on point, cut just right. Pulled pork? Absolutely wonderful and cooked to perfection. Now, the brisket, while flavorful, was kinda dry. I mentioned it to the lady, and she got a bit touchy. By the way, as a Southerner who knows BBQ, this place is far from legit Texan steakhouse vibes. On the bright side, the curly fries and mixed veggies were outstanding. Mac n' Cheese, my childhood fave, needs a pinch of salt before diving in. Brioche buns were fine, and the sauces? We liked 'em. The service is good but the establishment is on a noisy main road with a lot of traffic. Oh, and another thing - they should swap out those canned beers for some drought ones. It would totally amp up...
Read moreI ordered the full meat platter for 4-5 persons to give this place a try. Putting "Texas" in your name sets the bar high. You can judge a BBQ place by the Ribs. This place is no Bueno. In the States you can find better ribs in a grocery store! The brisket is passable but the pulled pork. was dry and tasteless. I make better pulled pork in my crockpot at home. The chicken was the best thing in the mix. Not a good sign! The sides were tasty but the portions tiny, Maybe enough for two people but not 4-5 as advertised. We had mac-n-cheese, baked beans and grilled veggies. The brioche buns were out of place. Texas toast anybody? The sauces need a lot of work too. Save your money and order souvlaki. Go to Texas...
