Midtown Bistro — Restaurant in Paralimni

Every single one of the waiting staffs was so kind and helpful, serving with the best smiles and patience. We had extremely crispy pita (on the side of brisket) and we were just curious if that’s how they’re supposed to be. Shortly after the waiter brought us some soft pita bread even though we didn’t ask for it. However, I’m pretty much on the fence about the food. Quality is good and creativity is admirable. But given the various ingredients in the mix somehow it didn’t pack a punch. I got all excited checking the menu and what goes in each dish. For instance, the salad. In my opinion it could use a little more crunch and tanginess to set off the sweetness from the honey mustard dressing. The brisket was okay. The burger wasn’t bad either. The bun was super soft. The salmon pattie was understandably crumbly as fish meat has different texture than beef or pork. I found that the soy glaze too overpowering and with every bite you got this salty splash on over your tongue that you could barely taste anything else. The potential is there. While staying in Pernera we want to go a little out of the resort to get some food. We saw the reviews of this place and thought we would give it a try. It is roughly a 10 minute drive from Pernera so if you want to go it would have to be a car or taxi.

When we arrived at 7pm the place was empty but as we left just after 8 the place was starting to pick up. There was a wide range of what I would call american sty;e fair (Burgers, Chicken, Salads, Ribs, Wings, Fish etc so more than enough choice for the average person. Service was excellent and attentive so certianly no complaints on that part.

I had burger and Chips with a side of Onion Rings and have to say it was one of the best burgers I have had and it was likewise with the chips which were freshly cooked and delicious. In the end we had to leave have the food as we simply couldnt finish it there was so much there.

I would recommend that if you have a car that you make the effort to go there for at least one meal...
