Tavernaki Filippos — Restaurant in undefined

This was the best surprise ever! We are a family of 6 and were looking for a greek restaurant to eat and Tavernaki Filippos appeared on google. It was so worth it! A cozy restaraunt in the heart of old Strovolos with a tavern atmosphere. We were greeted at the door, seated immediately given menus and water right away. We ordered the "Mezedes". Then the magic begun they served everything sizzling hot with excellent timing..the appetizers and salad followed by the plethora of dishes that followed. This is Greek cuisine not your typical Cypriot tavern...the quality and quantity is money well spent. At the end we were also served a sweet which really made my evening. I highly recommend this restaurant for families, couples even friendly get-togethers you will have a wonderful...

Although the food was good it felt like a rip off as the quantity was not adequate. We were 5 people and the portions for some dishes felt that would be the same if we were 3. Only one salad, only one serving of tzatziki and tahini, very small plate of lamp kebab, very few fries. At a point they stopped serving for about 15 minutes as well. Halloumi was quite tasteless. The beers were super cold and the kleftiko was nice. The dessert at the end was unique and quite tasty. We had two draught beers each and we paid 30...

Παρόλο που το φαγητό ήταν καλό και το προσωπικό φιλικό, όταν έλαβα τον λογαριασμό έμεινα έκπληκτος. Προσπάθησα να μιλήσω με την διευθυνσή, καθώς ήμουν σίγουρος ότι πρέπει να είχε γίνει κάποιο λάθος. Ο λογαριασμός που μπορείτε να δείτε παρακάτω ήταν για 3 άτομα και το μενού χρεώθηκε ως εξής. Κάθε ατομικό κομμάτι μανιταριού (πολύ μικρό) χρεώθηκε 3 ευρώ το καθένα. Ένα πολύ μικρό κομμάτι χαλούμι (σε μέγεθος δύο μικρών δακτύλων) χρεώθηκε επίσης 3 ευρώ το καθένα. Τα σουβλάκια ήταν 2 μερίδες (3 καλαμάκια η κάθε μερίδα) και κάθε μερίδα χρεώθηκε 12 ευρώ. Στο μενού για takeaway, η ολόκληρη πίτα με σαλάτα και σουβλάκι κοστίζει περίπου 7 ευρώ. Συνήθως δεν με απασχολούν οι κριτικές, αλλά δεν έχουμε ξαναζήσει κάτι τέτοιο σε τοπική ταβέρνα. Παρεμπιπτόντως, φυσικά δεν σου φέρνουν το μενού γιατί δεν θέλουν να δεις αυτές τις τιμές. Είναι από τα μέρη που νομίζουν ότι μπορούν να χρεώνουν ό,τι θέλουν...
