To Ouzeraki — Restaurant in undefined

We chose this place based on the reviews of recent guests who loved it for the graciousness of the hosts and the quality and authenticity of the food. The hospitality was exceptional and very truly appreciated in the middle of the afternoon in January when they were open but empty and busy getting themselves prepared for the evening. And the food really stands out from the usual offerings at a typical taverna - not just for the quality but for the unusual offerings. Most of us chose items we haven’t seen before on a menu - pastourma (the beef version of loukanika, a delicious spiced sausage), flamantzeri (pork belly glazed with Commandaria wine and chili), and grilled beef liver (the lamb liver wasn’t available). We also ordered the typical dips with pita, plus marinated grilled halloumi - which was the best we’ve had (so tender and flavourful, not overly salty). Good local wines, good coffee, and they gave us a complimentary dessert. We all agreed it was the best meal we’d had in Cyprus - especially my parents who live in Pissouri and have had many meals in that area and others...

Absolutely amazing! The food was great! The owner was the one on duty when we were there (i hope I understood it right). We got there about 10 minutes after they opened. The service was very fast, the food was absolutely delicious. The view was very nice as well and the staff was very friendly and nice! Consistently great food served here. The main courses are accompanied by a small salad in an individual bowl. We always have a great meal. The restaurant is family run by George and his lovely wife who are very friendly.
