Jan Takeaway — Restaurant in Yeroskipou

We stumbled upon Jan Takeaway in Paphos around 10:00 PM, hungry and tired - and from the very first moment, Jan, the owner, welcomed us with warmth and kindness.

We just asked for a few falafel balls, but Jan generously added more for free. I ordered chicken skewers, and again - he added extra without accepting any additional payment. And just before we left, he handed us two warm lahmajouns "for the road" - straight from the heart.

Jan's place is all about soulful food. A real charcoal grill, the smell of Mediterranean spices in the air, and everything freshly made - it honestly reminded us of the comforting scents of home.

The falafel was something else - a truly unique flavor we’ve never had before, and it left us craving more. The chicken was perfectly grilled, and the presentation, the aroma - everything was just right.

Jan, originally from Lebanon, is a beautiful example of coexistence and human generosity. It wasn’t just a meal - it was a heartwarming experience.

We'll definitely be coming back - not just for the delicious food, but for the incredible person behind it.
