I’m from the United States and I have eaten lot of steak throughout my life. As a matter of fact, as a young adult I also worked in a steak house where I started in the kitchen so I can learn the different cuts of meat and how to cook them and what they should taste like. I then worked as a server to pass on my knowledge to the guests.
I moved to Bratislava Slovakia about 4 years ago and have not visited any steakhouses since till some of my friends recommended Codys for our get together.
When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the staff, we had a reservation (strongly recommended even for party of 2) and seated. Our servers were very friendly, attentive and helpful. We placed our drink order and within few min our aperitif🍹arrived at our table.
We then proceeded to order. Steak Tartare Salmon Tartare Filet Minion / Baked Potato T-Bone Steak / Steak Fries Chicken Fingers (for kids) just to name a few.
Our dinner was properly coursed so we had plenty time to finish our appetizers before our main course arrived. The Steak Tartare was delicious but as agreed by our table, it needed to be just tad bit spicier. Salmon Tartare was good but our least favorite from all the dishes we ordered (we even left some on the plate) I do recommend it because it was good just a little on the tart side. As for our steaks 🥩, well they were cooked to perfection (our chosen temperatures) and just delicious.
All of us had different entrées and no one could say anything else but yummy 😋. Keep up the great work both front and back of the house.

Read moreWell we visited beautiful little sleepy town in Břeclav in the Czech Republic 🇨🇿 and found a beautiful steakhouse which is about 1mile from the rail station..you can get a bus there from the station but decided to walk it via the riverside which was a lovely walk,but anyway I started with a chicken noodle soup which was a little salty but I added some pepper that balanced it out better but my son just had a portion of chips while I had the chicken fajita with all the roasted vegetables sauces and a big tortilla plus I had a Czech beer while my son had 2 apple juices and by the time I converted the price in to GBP the whole bill came to £20.43p wow what a bargain and the portion size is good aswell…staff really nice and friendly and I would certainly visit this place again...

Přinesli maso, které se nedalo rozkousat, on ho ani nejedl. Přinesl jsem to domů a dal to psovi, ano, všechno bylo v pohodě, co se týče koření, ale maso samotné nebylo dobré. Nejchutnější byla zelenina, ale nepřišel jsem jíst zeleninu do restaurace, kde se vyrábí maso. Dezert a druhý chod nebyly špatné, holce chutnaly.
