818 Restaurant — Restaurant in okres Olomouc

The view is nice, but if you're here for the view please, just continue to the top floor and give this restaurant a pass. The staff is kind and welcoming. Unfortunately that's it for the good points. The Sichuan beef I had was not fresh, reeked of old, cheap soy sauce and had but a faint spicy sourness. Except for the meat, the plate contained thick slices of undercooked onion and carrots. One black mushroom and about a handful of canned bamboo slices. Overall taste was simply heavy, salty and sour-spicy. The brown sauce was identical to other dish on the table, only difference being the scarce vegetables. I spent over six years in China, and I must say this restaurant is a disgrace to the otherwise amazing Chinese cuisine. Even noodles from a Chinese bistro at the train station would be tastier.

Awful food, I don't recommend it. I had sour soup with seafood and it was glue-like consistency. Fried food was really greasy. Spring rolls were also deep fried. A waiter that served us pretended to know English, but didn't understand a word (it would be fine if he just say he don't speak). Additionally there's only paid parking lot, even for guests. From good points, the view was nice from few tables and they had nice...

Very good Chinese food in Czech Republic, Olomouc. The best I would say for this small town.

Affordable, fast, view is great. Everything is Perfect.

Strongly recommended especially to tourists or local to have a taste of this unique Chinese restaurant located inside RCO building at 18th floor.
