Racism all around this place. I am pretty convinced my best friend and I experienced one of the most racist behaviour EVER. Firstly we went straight to the cash desk to make our order. The girl working said: I if your order is for here, sit and we will come to take it. Okay no problem, but why you made us wait 15 min just to take our order even though we sat exactly in front of the cash desk? Her colleague took the orders of all the tables around us, except ours. After 15 min wait maybe the cash desk girl felt her colleague is ignoring us too much and came to take our order, something that could happen 15 min earlier when we were in front of her on the cash desk. After taking our order we waited 20 more minutes for the food to be prepared, because I ordered eggs Benedict, but let’s say this is acceptable. The not acceptable part is that for these 20 min they could at least give us the coffees we ordered. But this happened 20 min after serving our food. So if you follow my thoughts correctly you will find out that we waited almost one hour to get our whole order on the table. UNBELIEVABLE. After asking for the bill the girl told us this happens on the cash desk. Okay then why all the tables around us paid their bills sitting on the table? For me this was exclusively racist behaviour and I would NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE.

*update in August 2023* This time all the staff was very friendly and lovely :) and now they have OATly, not Minor Figures anymore. I’ve visited all Cøcafe cafes in Ostrava, yes, all three and all of them have slightly different interior and all of them are pretty … maybe from the interior POW I like the one in Poruba the best… the exterior is definitely the nicest in DOV… great centre location in the centre, but the best coffee -> the most delicious coffee in my opinion was here in DOV. Ohh, it was soo nice :) BUT there’s something that I didnt like as much… so, I cannot drink milks: cow, soya, nut and coconut, so I wanted to make sure it’s oat cap… and I asked the barista if it’s really an oat cappuccino and she said - “yes, it’s an alternative milk” (why couldn’t she say “yes, oat”?!) , so I asked again and pointed at the Minor Figure box and she said “yes” with a really sour smile… ; I’m sorry but I get sick from drinking anything else so I tend to me anxious as it happened to me that they pour wrong milk in… I’m used to kind and friendly barista and she was not… tho my friend joked that we’re in Ostrava and that I should be glad I wasnt sent to… p*ca 😂😂😂 maybe the girl was tired or just hated me I don’t know, but I hope she’ll have reasons to smile soon

To se mi dlouho nestalo, později jsem pochopil, proč. Nicméně slečna je celkem ochotně odnesla a přinesla v pořádku. Později jsme se kvůli dešti přesunuli dovnitř, 2 dospělí a dorszily 4 děti, vyskákané, hladové. Říkali jsme ok, vyberte si co chcete. 2 děti si vybraly u pultu zákusky a pití. Pití dorazilo na stůl normálně, na zákusky čekaly ...děti, chápete jak rády čekají, skoro 40minut. To fakt nechcete. Když nsme viděli, že slečny obsluhující mají v práci docela chaos, pochopili jsme ty vlaźné kávy. Prostě udělají kafe a čekají, až jim někdo další dokompketuje objednávku, káva zatím stydne až vystydne. Takže jsme další objednávku udělali online přes QR kód na stole, a čekali jsme cca 30 minut. Na zákusek, který byl 5 metrů od nás. Obsluha - ani zvlášť nepříjemná, ani zvlášť příjemná, každopádně ve většině jiných kaváren je to lepší. Mají i teplá jídla která vypadala hezky, takže mají dost práce a prostě v tom počtu to nestíhají. Na to, jak sebevědomě je to naceněné, jsme spokojeni nebyli. Je třeba dodat že prostředí je útulné a hezké a celý koncept by mohl při troše lepší organizace fungovat líp. To píšu nejen jako častý host kaváren a restaurací, ale i jako člověk, který restaurací sám provozoval takže celkem chápu její provoz a možnosti.

My se bohužel přidáme k těm kteří píšou, že to poslední dobou stojí za houby. Byli jsme s dětmi v jump centru, takže posezení zde bylo celkem jasná volba. První a zřejmě i poslední návštěva. Upřímně nevím, kde začít. Vše začalo špinavými a ulepenými stoly. Myslela jsem, že v dnešní době je již standardem, že se vždy po odchodu zákazníků od stolu stůl utře a vydezinfikuje. Asi ne. Pokračovalo to dále špatnou obsluhou. Při objednání mimosy nám bylo řečeno, že není prosecco. Tak tedy jen pomerančový fresh. Při objednání snídaňového jídla nám bylo slečnou servírkou sděleno, že je 11:59 hodin a že jí v kuchyni pošlou někam. Škoda, že máte na jídelním lístku uvedeno, že snídaně podáváte do 13 hodin. Při dotazu, jakou že to pomazánku dle denní nabídky vlastně máte, nám bylo řečeno, že neví a že by se musela zeptat. To je docela smutné, když dle jejich slov bylo poledne a snídaně už skončily, že ani neví, co vlastně celé dopoledne nabízela. Tak jsme tedy slečnu servírku poprosili, aby se zeptala v kuchyni. Doporučila bych lepší výběr personálu či jejich školení, neboť to jsou právě oni, kdo podniku dělají špatnou pověst. Další problém přišel v momentě, kdy nám na stůl dorazilo jídlo, ale my se stále ještě ani neměli čeho napít. V dnešní době již velmi nezvyklé. Co se týče jídla, tak ani zde bohužel žádné nadšení nepřišlo. Sladké vejce Benedikt jsem jedla poprvé v životě. Zajímalo by mě, kde se stala chyba. Spletl si snad kuchař sůl s cukrem? Je to dost možné, i dle ostatních recenzí mají se solí a cukrem problém i ostatní zákazníci. Ale co mě dostalo ze všeho nejvíce, tak to, že si v kavárně nemůžete ani dát bezkofeinovou kávu. Jako vážně? V dnešní době je toto již samozřejmostí v kdejaké restauraci, natož v kavárně...
