Reasonably filling, although slightly overpriced for what it is. The goulash was tasty, but had a mild taste of what I thought was peppers out of a jar. The goulash meat itself could have used another hour of cooking, being a little tough. Although I first thought the portion was a bit small, I can't say I was hungry afterwards, so that's fine. My friend had salmon pasta and I am told that other than the salmon being a little dry, it was delicious. Atmosphere and service were great, as was the beer. A gem in the otherwise not crowded area of Strašnica. The staff are so good, you'd think you've been friends for ages. Super, like, super, dog friendly. Kid friendly. Nice open, interesting space. And the food is honest, good, and straightforward, with nice, various options. Nice restaurant, about a 10-minute walk from Hotel Don Giovanni. They have menus in English which was nice. The service was good, with plenty of smiling faces and attentive servers. We tried two classic Czech dishes: the beef sirloin in cream sauce and the pork tenderloin. Both dishes were cooked well and tasted quite good. The cream sauce on the beef was interesting and unexpected, as it had a slightly sweet taste. However, it complemented the dumplings and beef well. I would love to return and try...
