This hotel is a 4-star hotel, but it is potentially 5-star. We stayed there for 5 days, and it was the greatest experience I could ever have. I have been traveling a lot in the EU and stayed in many hotels but this one was different from other hotels. First, I should say that the building itself and the art frames and decoration in the lobby are fantastic. The staff is very hospitable and charming with non-disappearing smiles all day long. This hotel has a dedicated buffet for toddlers and kids with various healthy options for breakfast and for dinner. The dining area has a corner for toddlers with some toys. It has a creche for kids as well with well-trained staff. I tried it for my baby. she spent 2 hours there and I was monitoring her while she was playing with them, it was fantastic, and she enjoyed it a lot. For people who care about hygiene, at the entrance of the toddler room you must take off your shoes, you can ask for hotel slippers if you want. Upon our arrival, the staff gave us a package for my baby for painting, toys, and balloons. Every day at the breakfast table there was a bunch of balloons for kids to take with their breakfast. The rooms were clean, and bright, without any dust or web, the daylight makes the room bright enough although there are plenty of lamps in each corner. The quality of the breakfast was fantastic, it had various healthy fresh options of vegetables, fruits, pastries, and cookies, gluten-free, and lactose-free. The dinner was also served from 7 pm to 10 pm and again it was an open buffet where you could have various options for fish, poultry, meat, soup, vegetables, and salads, at least 5 types of fruits, and 7 types of pastries and desserts. The quality of the dinner and the taste of it was great. I tried it one night and it was as great as I did not want to go out in the city to try something else, so we had dinner in the hotel during our stay. In the lobby, there is a lovely white piano that an artist plays every day in the morning and every evening so you can enjoy a cup of coffee or drink at the bar and listen to the classic music. On each floor, there are lots of large photo frames of the Amadeus movies (which got the 8th Oscar) which is nice and mysterious. The hotel has a gym, Spa, sauna, and jacuzzi. I tried the massage there and again to me it was very good in comparison to the spa I had...
Read moreStayed there in December 2022. Funny how I wanted to share a lot of things after check out , but now I am too lazy. The communication prior our arrival was okay, smooth and responsive. The hotel is really big and for us it was not that cold. Maybe it was from the AC, maybe because of the cold weather - 14 degrees (which should not be the problem) but during the night it was chilli. You can feel the AC, but only the fas, without heating. Even during the day it was not hot.
I was a bit disappointed from the executive lounge, but I understood their marketing once I was got there. Lack of information regarding the lounge and if you ask publicly they won't reply, but then you send an email asking in private, they will. So it is one small room with around 10-12 tables (for 2 persons) and really busy and you cannot find a space. The assortment is sad, still you can find one type of beer, 1 type of wine and some soft drinks. (not worthy for the money)
The hiccup was that the lounge is on the last floor and you need special chip, which the hotel provides you with during check-in. That chip gave us so much headache, at least 6-7 times (for 4 nights) I had to go to the reception (respectively, waiting for the elevator, spending around 10 minutes to get new one and something even the new one was not working). Suggestion, do update your doors system or if it is because of the personal, teach them how to use the software program.
You have two small restaurants, one for the "executive guest", with the access to the lounge, and the other guests. The food is good though.
They gave us misleading information how to reach the hotel from the airport and the funny thing was that in the room you have information how to easily do that (you have to make 1 connections between the airport bus and one metro line) and they have me at least 3-4 connections, a bit disappointing. (not cool)
We had daily cleaning, which is a plus, also the cleanliness could be a bit better.
Overall, the hotel is nice, food ok, just some "little" things that they can improve, of course, it is up to persons preference, for me spending so much time asking for new card for the lounge and the other information above was not pleasant. (especially when you have almost nothing there...
Read moreThe hotel is outside the city center, but well served by public transport, 10 minutes is enough to go to the center of Prague by metro and is located in a quiet location far from the hustle and bustle of the city center. The Zelivského bus, tram and metro station is right in front of the hotel. All public transport runs until midnight and after that there is reduced night service. You can return to the hotel at nightfall to pick up your car to go to the restaurants or bars in the city center at a time when parking is free and there is less traffic. The hotel has paid parking in the two-level basement with a daily charge of €15. The reception is open 24 hours a day. The reception team speaks English and understands German. The hotel staff in general are respectful and are uniformly dressed and well presented. The hotel is clean right down to the parking lot and well maintained. The services, bar, restaurant, room are impeccable. I particularly salute the room team who could intervene at any time and do an impeccable job. The room is spacious, decorated and equipped with 2-zone air conditioning with comfortable beds and a bright bathroom where hot water is immediately available when you need it. The floors are served by four elevators with an access control system and the corridors are equipped with surveillance cameras. The corridor on the ninth floor is particularly decorated and fragrant. On the ground floor, there is the bar, the restaurant, games room and the tobacco machine and a souvenir and fashion shop. Every day, a pianist plays music until 11 a.m. The self-service breakfast is almost a brunch until 11:00 a.m. You will find kinds of cheeses, cold meats, breads, cereals, raw vegetables, sweet cakes, dry cakes, cereal seeds, natural or cut fruits, natural juice, cooked meals and hot and cold drinks.
The only negative point is the lack of space in the car park which should be managed electronically to avoid overspending on ticket sales.
The commercial welcome gesture by offering the aperitif voucher and bottles of mineral water for the trip is another very good point of this hotel.
I highly recommend this hotel with its...
