Restaurace OPATOVSKÉ TERASY a FOODCRAFT jídelna — Restaurant in Prague

I was dining at the restaurant on Saturday 16th of November 2024. I had high hopes for this place but sadly, I was hugely disappointed with attitude of the one waitress. I was making an order to one of the elder waitress this day however she showed her reluctance of communication, was kind of rude and making jokes with her colleague. I hope management of this place wil prevent racism by the waitresses.

Dear Pavel Novak Thank you very much for your reply. I understand your position, probably I would also defend my employees after all these years been working together. I'm from Ukraine and my native language is Ukrainian, and I sincerely doubt that local people ever studied Ukrainian or proficient in the language. If you review security camera footage you'll see that Ivanka showed no willingness to help with menu, being unfriendly, and didn't try to correct the issue. Situation was saved by her colleague, young lady, she was showing concern and didn't ignore my issue with menu. P.S. The table directly across me was occupied by nice couple from US, Florida, I chatted with them later. So, It was so pleased for me to see the good service at their table, the waitress was super friendly and smiling, all the time making sure the guest were enjoying the meal. When it comes to hospitality, service is the most important factor.. It's not just about how good the food and drink are; it's about how you treat your guests and make them feel welcome.

Třikrát vyzkoušeno a už nikdy. Pan majitel by měl zvážit výměnu servírek. Pan výčepní super, vždy úsměv od ucha k uchu, pozdraví, usměje se. Ovšem servírky by opravdu stály za výměnu. Poprvé jsme tam byli v březnu, kdy moje mamka měla narozeniny. Rezervace pro 8 lidí + kočárek. První obsloužení super, zeptali se na pití, pak na jídlo. Ovšem když jsme si chtěli dát ještě něco k pití, vždy jsme se museli ozvat my. Servírky pouze odnášejí, už se ale nezeptaji co si kdo dá dalšího. Dopadlo to tak, že tam zůstala jen mamka s bráchou a já šla za servírkou, zda je může ještě obsloužit, že mají žízeň. Odpověď ve formě otázky, zda už budou jen oni. ( Ano, ostatní jsme to vzdali) Tak že je ale přesune k menšímu stolu. Samozřejmě to chápu, ale kdykoliv jsme byli na mamky narozky někde jinde, kde se nás normálně průběžně ptali co si dáme dalšího, neměli jsme problém zůstat i několik hodin a udělat krásnou tržbu. Člověk si řekne dobře, asi špatná směna. Stane se, člověk nemá naladu. je to škoda ale ok. Vám utekla tržba za x tisíc. Oslavu jsme dělali u vás, jelikož to máme kousek od domova a s dvouměsíčním prckem jsme nechtěli přejíždět celou Prahu. Druhá návštěva dost podobná. Jednou přijdou, objednáte pití a pak jídlo a tím to končí. Třetí návštěva už nás ale fakt naštvala a bohužel to není očividně jen směnou nebo špatnou náladou. Stejny scénář. Objednáte si jídlo pití a pak už jen uklízí stůl. Bohužel teď jsme měli i nedosmažené falafel a celkově cena vs jídlo, nevyplatí se to. Plus když partner platil, měl kachnu z poledního menu, kterou i na tom lístku ukazoval. Nauctovali mu o 50 nebo 60kc dražší z normálního jídelního lístku. Jasně, je to pár korun, ale... Naúčtovat si vyšší cenu u páru s malým miminkem je už...

A nice Czech restaurant which is very spacious, so it offers plenty of seating and there is also a large terrace (with a chef's garden). The restaurant is nicely decorated and gives a good impression. As for the food, I appreciate that they offer a lunch menu not only during the week, but also during the weekends.
