The portions are, indeed, monumental, and the service couldn't be friendlier, although I did have my waiter suggest tartar sauce with a chicken liver dish which I thought odd, then found a charge for said condiment later on the check. Let's just say that Besdni at Ritschel is a short walk away and if I'm counting crowns I'm far more likely to choose the latter. Skopu does have a far more interesting ambiance, and although both offer outdoor seating in warmer weather, Skopu take the prize for better open air venue. And, as for basic Czech dishes, both of these "right nextdoor" restaurants are...

Fantastic food - big portions, and the meat I've tried here was better than in the posh restaurants in the center of Prague: very juicy and flavorful. Amazing service - positive, with humor and polite. The waiter also spoke English and credit cards were accepted. They even allowed to charge my phone. Order was taken fast and the food arrived without a delay too. Atmosphere was exactly the one you expect after couple of hours hiking around Prokopski udoli - a cosy road cafe, where you know they will not leave you with an empty belly:D Thank you, this is definitely worth visiting again...
