Like someone else wrote: “ordinary food to fine dining prices”. The patio and views are great! The service was friendly and efficient. But. The food. Come on. For these prices, you need to up your game!
The asparagus (with shrimp and hollandaise) was overdone and still tough. It’s off season, so they should find something else to showcase the shrimp with.
The broccolini with almonds was a joke for the price. Very few pieces and they were overdone and overpowered by the flavors of the sauce and smoked almonds. For 95 kroner, this needs to be much better. It wasn’t worth 50 kroner.
The “paratha” with corned beef was not paratha at all, but instead a flaky pastry dough that really didn’t pair well with the incredibly thin and dry corned beef, which was more in the style of a dried ham instead of a moist delicious corned beef. So disappointing. The pepper sauce was alright, but the dish was overall pretty bland. I left most of the “paratha” pastry behind, it was super awkward to eat and its dryness competed with the dryness of the meat.
The caprese and scallops looked nice, as well as the risotto. No complaints from my dinner companions, I wish I had ordered those instead.
Dessert was great, we had one of each. I got the cheese plate, with 2 different cheeses which weren’t specified on the menu but weren’t introduced by the waiter, either. The one was def a Manchego, as good as any, the other was like a full fat gouda with a hint of bitterness. The candied fig that came with was good, the apple sauce that also came with it was bland at best, again not quite in season yet.
We were three people in all and had 3 small dishes plus dessert each. 1 beer, 2 glasses of wine, 1 elderflower juice, one espresso, water ad libitum. 1400kr and some change. Not unreasonsble if the food was up to par. But it wasn’t.
Also - all the food was served at once. Meaning, that once we got thought the cold dishes, the warm dishes were lukewarm. I see what they’re trying to do here, and there are a lot of restaurants that it works well for. But wait with the warm dishes until people have made it through the cold ones?
I wish they’d go for a set menu and just work on doing a few dishes really really well. That would make sense and complement the vibe they’re going for (and the prices). Until then, drop the “filler dishes” and also adjust the prices so they reflect the actual value. Otherwise it’s just price gouging in a...

UTROLIG...
Read moreNice location with a cozy interior and friendly staff. The food was delicious, and I appreciated the personal touch of having each dish presented by the staff. The only disappointing detail was the portion size—I was served only 3 scallops, while earlier photos show it used to be 4. Still, a lovely dining...
