Restaurant Gudhjem Bakke — Restaurant in Bornholms Regionskommune

I wish I could give - stars. We came at around 7.45 as this is not an unusual dinner time… and we were told by one guy that they were closing the kitchen, but we could order before they did. So we were about to sit down (with a child too), and then another quite rude guy comes up (in front of everyone) and tells us it’s closed and we aren’t allowed to eat…… at 7.45 pm. We walk out, and he literally in front of us turns the closed sign and switches the light off in the doorway, even when the restaurant was full inside.. Impolite, and didn’t really make us feel good at all…. This is not how you should run a restaurant!! I guess we should be eating at 5 pm...

We are Australian and visited this restaurant with Danish friends. It was the worst dining experience of our lives, avoid at all costs!!! The waiter/owner? Was abrupt and rude and the food awful. Our Danish friends on complaining about dried up meat had their plates snatched from them with a declaration ‘you can get something from the buffet instead’ This was declined as the buffet food looked awful. On suggesting to the waiter/owner this was not the way to treat guests he exploded telling us al to F... Off from his restaurant and that he didn’t want our money. Maybe he was having a bad day but no excuse. Eat here at your...

Didn't get a chance to eat there, though I wanted to. I was late for the bus at about 5 p.m - 2 hours to the next. So decided to go eat at rest. Gudhjem Bakke. The rest. was half empty, so sat down at a free table. Along came the waiter, telling me, that that table was reserved. I argued there wasn't a reserved-sign. He replied, that any table without a sign was reserved - in a tone as though I was supposed to know that. I asked where else I could sit. He answered in a very arrogant tone: "They are all reserved!" ....... I will definitely never bother that restaurant again - they seem to consider even potential ...
