Armando's Gentofte — Restaurant in Gentofte Municipality

My wife and I visited the restaurant Friday 17th February. We ordered soup, ravioli, salad and pizza and, for drink, a glass of wine and a beer. While most food was an average quality, the pizza was terrible. First of all it arrived half-cold while the dough and the meat was almost impossible to chew through. It is obvious that the pizza was old and re-heated. Most probably it was an order that was not picked-up. After a couple of bites we gave-up the "pizza". I want to stress that this is not the case of low quality food, but a fully conscious act of sneaking a bad product into the customer's plate instead of throwing it into the garbage. Fast and kind service, even when they're very busy (which is quite often due to how popular this place is - for a reason) orders are expedited in a timely manner and everything is run professionally by a truly passionate owner.

I've had pizza from Armando's for more than 10 years, that's easily more than 100 pizzas, and there's never been a single time where it wasn't a perfect pizza. People writing bad reviews complaining about the pizza should go to the supermarket and get tripple-box of frozen discount pizzas.

Came across this place by chance as it was on my way back to the hotel. It was the only place open late and though I arrived less than 15 minutes before closing, they still honored my order and made me a freshly baked pizza.
