Two stars is for the location and the uniq architecture which both are worth a visit. The interior is very pleasant for the eye as well the body - so have a seat and a cup of coffee, enjoy the view of the sea and the bathing establishment across the road. Here the Danes practise the growing sport "winter bathing" - we're vikings, you know, so water at a freezing temperature doesn't scare us! Avoid eating here - it's not as the owner promises on the website "we never compromise on quality when it comes to what guests should put their teeth into ..." Being a local with 30+ years as a cafe guest on my shoulders I can honestly say that this is not true: when it comes to quality, you'll easily find much better food both nearby in Hellerup and in Copenhagen as such. It goes for cakes, sandwiches and others.
