Charlottenlund Beach Park — Attraction in Gentofte Municipality

A nice and quiet campsite by the beach, with plenty to do and lovely to chill. Very nicely organised campsite with plenty of space for tents, caravans, campervans and people with rooftents. The area is clean and perfect for walking, paddling in the sea, swimming, dogwalking. The place welcomes doggs. The decent priced restaurant nearby with the seaview also welcomes dogs is a part of the site. The facilities for customers are very good too. Microwaves, clean kitchen,indoor tables and chairs to eat and relax, laundry room, clean showers and toiletts. A beautiful castle grounds nearby with plenty of woodland towalk your dog of the lead. Will be definitely...

Very pleasant in the warm sunshine. The lapping of the waves against the breakwater rocks is very soothing. Good view across the Sound to Sweden and interesting skyline of Copenhagen. Plenty of planes coming into the airport (some distance away) and not too many seagulls (closer by!). Usually a variety of vessels using the Sound ....interesting and relaxing to view. Good shallow bathing and grassy shoreline. Nearby restaurant, cafeteria and ice-lolly/polser kiosk. Bus service ca. half-hourly. A convenient ...and relatively easy to reach coast location - if you wish to have a break from the big city. It's, of course, not the only one ...but...

Cool place to walk around. A lot of people walk thair dog here. The sand and the ocean often isn't particularly nice to swim in, not just because it freezing since it's the Danish coast line, but also because there is a lot of sea weed, twigs and rocks. Otherwise it's a cool place to look around and discorver. The place is after all an old military outpost with canons still there. A lot of people come out to the surrounding area to sunbathe, grill and play game...
