WokShop — Restaurant in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality

Today I ordered take away from Wokshop. I chose the food, the time for delivery, I paid for the food and I got the order confirmation number on their website, see screenshot. The food was delayed 10 min so I checked my email to see if they have sent something. Then I realized I haven’t received a confirmation email. I decided to call and ask what’s the status. The guy told me that if I haven’t received a confirmation email, the order is not been processed. I got so angry as we were waiting for our food and my 1,5 year old daughter was already asking for her food. The guy on the phone said they can’t do anything, and that I need to place the order online once again. He said this happens in few rare cases. As a matter of fact it had happened one more time to my husband a month ago, but he thought there’s something wrong with his NemID. In that case he ordered food for him and 7 other friends who then had to wait for their food to be delivered after the second order.

All in all, I’m so disappointed and angry with Wokshop. They just lost a very loyal customer. I will ensure to spread the word about my experience because this is unacceptable. My family was left with no dinner and we had to really replan everything. People should be able to rely on their service, and not being left without food.

I feel bad for giving a 1 star review but i feel its nessecary in order to get their attention. The 2 reasons are: The front door dosnt automatically close and people dont close it, so if you sit near the door, even on the bench coutch area, you will feel the cold draft - it takes a carpenter or handy many an hour to repair or replace it, come on. The very polite girl serving asked if i want the lunch menu or the regular and i said i am a big guy so ill have the regular - when i got the food it looked and felt like it was a small kids lunch serving and i dont think it was worth the 169 kr that i pai, not even the lunch price if it had been lunch menu size and price.

We came to know about wokshop in Lyngby when we once went to have dinner at Lyngby Centre and noticed a nice and cosy restaurant after dinner and decided to try it in another trip. We decided to try some Thai Food for lunch and drove to Lyngby Centre and on reaching there we came to know that it was temporarily closed but we came to know there was another Wokshop in the same area.
