Big Ben Old English Pub — Restaurant in Varde Municipality

Stayed in Varde for the weekend visited Big Ben Friday afternoon. Nice place but no atmosphere at all. Kind staff but no selection of any English beer. Fish and chips were good but expensive. Or is that me being an old 😀? Really well replica of an English pub but empty of customers. Maybe that reflects on the prices….. 80dkr for a cider. Where does that come from. Almost as expensive as the Nim hotel . Nothing to say bad about Big Ben, apart from value for money. Will definitely go there again when I win the lotto and buy the place...

Ein Pub wie er im Buche steht. Schön urig und mit ordentlich englischem Flair. Gemütliches zusammensitzen, gute Auswahl an alkoholische und nicht alkoholische Getränke. Abgetrennter Bereich für Raucher, sowie die Treppe hoch Billard und Dart Bereich. Dazu kommt das verdammt leckere Essen!! Selten so'n guten Burger gegessen. Vorallem die Soße beim bøfsandwich muss probiert werden- DER Hammer! Parkplätze sind leider rar gersegnet, da der Pub mitten in der Innenstadt liegt, aber nur eine kurze Strecke zu Fuß ist rin großer kostenfreier Parkplatz. Sehr zu...
