Von Lügenhals — Restaurant in Varde Municipality

Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience. According to the information on Google Maps, the restaurant was shown as open, but when I arrived, there was no one there. After I left a review, the owner responded saying they only accept guests with a prior reservation — but this was not mentioned anywhere on their Google listing. In a tourist city like Vardeh, it’s expected that a restaurant is either open or clearly marked as "reservation only." Requiring reservations might make sense in small villages with few residents, but not in a place that attracts tourists. I hope the management updates their Google profile to avoid wasting visitors' time and creating confusion...

A true pampering day for our employee was held in these lovely surroundings. We had an absolutely fantastic day, with outstandingly good food and sublime service.

In the evening, we held an event at home at the company's address, again perfectly flanked by staff from Von Lügenhals, who in addition to delivering the food, also handled the set-up and clean-up.

Amazing Friday evening dinner with live music, cosy atmosphere and last but not least, delicious food. Thank you Bo and the waiters staff for making us feel welcome and spoiled. Thanks to the kitchen for the gastronomic experience, again, the food was mind blowing. Von Lügenhals is an oasis, a perle that was created to take you back in time, with real candles and real flowers on the table. Beautiful vintage style restaurant, where the service is at its best. We will definitely come back for this unique and one of a kind experience. Best,...
